New Super Saver in Columbus Set to Open on March 15th

March,11 2025 Columbus, Nebraska

Super Saver is excited to announce the opening of its new Columbus store on Saturday, March 15th, at 7:00 AM. The new location, situated directly behind the current building at 3318 23rd St., offers expanded space, additional products, and a more convenient shopping experience for customers.

To facilitate the transition, the current Super Saver store will close on Tuesday, March 11th, in the evening, allowing the team time to prepare for the opening of the new store.

The new store boasts 13,000 square feet of additional space, enabling expanded departments and an increased selection of 5,000 more items throughout the store. Shoppers will enjoy larger bakery, produce, and deli departments, enhancing their grocery experience with greater variety and convenience.

“The new store addresses the two greatest frustrations our customers had: not enough parking and a crowded shopping environment,” said Dean Van Horn, Store Director. “We’ve listened to our customers, and now we are delivering a store that offers more space, more selection, and the same great customer service our shoppers have come to expect. Our associates can’t wait to welcome customers and showcase all that’s new.”

While the new store will be open for business, parking will be limited for the first couple of months as the old building is demolished to make way for a significantly larger parking area. A detailed parking map will be provided to assist customers during this transition.
